I love the side pose because it is so simple and easy.

Flowing directly from the back pose, I transition the baby gently by turning them onto their side and bring their little hands up under their face. What I love the most is just how easy it is. And it creates beautiful, timeless images.

In this week’s new tutorial video, I demonstrate how I transition the baby slowly into this next pose without having to pick them up or put them down. This is what’s going to keep your baby nice and and settled throughout your session.

And as you master these transitions, you’re going be able to create your own flow of posing for what works best for you and the babies that you’re photographing.
